Our annual Stock Skills competition is a stalwart of agriculture studies at Riseholme and it’s always a memorable occasion.
The competition is designed to show students exactly what is involved in getting an animal ready for show, whether they are from a livestock, arable or non-farming background.
Attracting friends and family of those competing, along with a range of dignitaries from the local farming community, it’s an event steeped in history and tradition.

Working alongside Bishop Burton Equine Centre, Riseholme's Equine team hosts British Eventing Horse Trials at Lincolnshire Showground each March.
Lincolnshire Horse Trials attracts hundreds of competitors, including high-profile riders such as Ben Hobday, Piggy French and Oliver Townend.
