Apply to Riseholme College

Find out how to apply to Riseholme College, the steps in the application process, key entry requirements and what to expect once you submit your application.

Explore our campus at our Open Events!

There’s more to college life than your course. At our Open Events, you can explore everything Riseholme College has to offer. You’ll have the opportunity to tour our campus, meet our student support teams and explore all our subject areas. Once you’ve decided on a course then it’s time to apply!

Step One: Make Your Application

Once you have chosen your course, click the Apply Now button on the course page and complete our online application form. Make sure you use a valid email address that you have easy access to, and a mobile number that we can send reminders too and contact you directly if we need to.

We recommend applying as early as possible to maximise your chances of securing a place. However, applications are accepted throughout the year.

Step Two: Have An Interview

After we receive your application, we will invite you to an interview with a member of the relevant curriculum team. Details of your interview will be sent by email, so please check your inbox regularly.

Your interview is an informal chat where our tutors can find out more about you and discuss the course you’ve chosen.

If you decide during your interview that the course is not right for you, our team will help you explore alternative options.

Step Three: Your Offer

If your interview is successful, you will receive a conditional offer via email outlining the entry requirements needed to secure your place.

To reserve your place, you must confirm acceptance of your offer.

Step Four: Apply for accommodation and stay in touch

If you plan to live on campus, applications open at the beginning of November. You must have been given an offer before applying for a room.

As rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend applying as soon as possible.

We'll also keep in touch with important updates and information about life at Riseholme College.

Step Five: Applicant Welcome Day

This is where you will spend the day on campus taking part in a range of activities to get a feel of what life at RIseholme College will be like when you start in September.

Further details about this day will be sent to you nearer the time

Step Six: August Enrolment

During the summer before your course begins, you will receive full details about the enrolment process, including key dates and instructions.

Please let us know if your address, email address or telephone number changes so that you do not miss any important communications. Updates can be sent to admissions@bishopburton.ac.uk.

Don't worry if your exam results are different from what you expected. We will work with you to find a suitable alternative course and help you stay on track with your future plans.
