William Pickering

William has ambitions to pursue a career in land management or agricultural business management, he knew he wanted to gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in the sector.

After being recommended to Riseholme College, William decided it was the right place to take the next step towards his future career.

One of the things William particularly enjoys is, "Having the opportunity to do all the practicals whilst still learning."

The combination of theory and industry experience allows William to develop a deeper understanding of the agricultural industry.

For William, Riseholme College is providing the opportunity to turn a lifelong interest in agriculture into a future career.
