Ollie Eyres

Ollie lives in student accommodation and enjoys having his own space while being able to socialise with his friends. “The accommodation is good, it is all new, you get your own bedroom and bathroom, it is a good opportunity to make friends and is a great way to socialise.” Moving away from home was nerve-wracking at first, but knowing friends had already experienced Riseholme helped him feel confident about his decision. On his Level 3 Sport course, Ollie is in College four days a week, with a games day alongside his studies. He particularly enjoys the practical side of his course. Students also have opportunities to play competitively against other colleges and explore coaching. Outside of lessons, Ollie spends his time training, using the gym, playing pool and 
socialising. Residential students also take part in activities and trips, including visits to Meadowhall, baking and playing darts and pool. Ollie has completed work experience at Lincoln City and is continuing to explore his future career options. If he had to describe Riseholme in three words, they would be: “Fun, sociable and interesting.” And his advice to anyone considering student accommodation, “Just do it, you might regret not doing it and wish you had.”
