Isobel was able to gain a strong foundation in tree care and practical skills. After graduating from Riseholme College, she worked across the UK as a groundie and climber, progressing into a full-time climbing role.
In 2020, she travelled to Australia, where she undertook complex crane-assisted removals of 50–70 metre trees in national parks, significantly advancing her climbing and rigging expertise. She later expanded her career internationally, subcontracting across the USA, Switzerland, and Germany, and is now back in Australia pursuing permanent residency.
With over nine years’ experience, Isobel has developed advanced skills in tree climbing, rigging, sectional dismantling, canopy work, and crane removals, alongside contributing to conservation through seed collection projects in the UK. Her expertise has also enabled unique experiences such as canopy camping and treetop traverses.
She has built a global career across four continents, progressing from a UK groundie to an international climbing subcontractor, and qualified to represent the Asia-Pacific region at the 2025 World Tree Climbing Championships in New Zealand. Isobel is apart of ‘Team Australia’ for competing in International Climbing competitions, has developed a social media following and shares her skillset with others through her wide connections.
