Annabelle Froggatt

Annabelle began her journey in Year 11, when she completed work experience at Riseholme’s Animal Management Centre. She loved working with the animals, and the friendly atmosphere confirmed that Riseholme was the right place for her.

“It was quite an easy process from applying, and being interviewed on the phone. The lady on the phone that interviewed me was really nice.”

Since joining the college, Annabelle has enjoyed an educational and rewarding experience, knowing that support is always available whenever she needs it.

Alongside her animal management studies, Annabelle achieved an important milestone last year by resitting her GCSE Maths and achieving a grade 4. This achievement boosted her confidence and showed her what she could accomplish with the right support.

Looking ahead, Annabelle hopes to pursue a career in veterinary care or conservation and is considering progressing to a Level 4 qualification after completing her course.

“I always like to strive for the best, and that is why I came here, as I have been told it is the best for the Animal Management courses.”
