Alix Tomlinson

Having grown up in the countryside, Alix enjoys studying in a rural environment at Riseholme. 

One of the things Alix particularly enjoys about the course is that it is only three days a week, giving a good balance to college life. 

The specialist facilities are another big benefit, with access to dedicated engineering equipment and a welding centre to support practical learning.

Having access to industry-relevant equipment and facilities means Alix can gain valuable experience while developing the knowledge and skills needed for a future in land-based engineering.
