Whether you’re wanting to improve your career prospectus or find a hobby to fill up your free time, we run a number of different courses.

They are delivered over days and times to suit mature learners. From short courses to degrees, adults can study any of our courses.

Financing your return to education

There are a number of funded courses that as an adult you may be eligible to study free of charge.

Depending on your circumstances and if you meet specific criteria, or if you are in receipt of benefits, you may not have to pay any tuition fees. If you are not in receipt of any benefits then don’t worry, there is funding available to help support you for those courses that require fees.

If you are aged 19 or over you may be entitled for an Advanced Learner Loan. The loan goes directly to the college to pay for your course and you do not have to start paying anything back until you are earning £25,000 a year and if you never earn this amount, you may never have to pay it back.

The college also has a number of scholarship programmes and grants to assist with things like childcare and support with other departments, as well with accommodation fees and transport if needed.
