From a young age, Megan launched her own business, developing her brand and building a customer base across the UK. Her drive and innovation led her to enter national competitions, where she excelled, winning top prizes that opened up exciting opportunities. One highlight was being invited to share her journey on Greatest Hits Radio, where she spoke about how she started her business, the challenges she overcame, and her goals for the future.
Her interest in business was the reason she chose to study the subject here at our College. She has been able to combine her experience with the knowledge gained through her course, describing it as both practical and inspiring. Modules such as Planning an Event gave her valuable skills in organisation, risk assessments and teamwork, while Business Finance helped her to better understand the financial side of running a company. She has also found her work experience in digital marketing particularly rewarding, giving her insight into how businesses can grow their online presence.
Beyond the classroom, she has taken every opportunity to expand her skills. From completing additional courses to fundraising activities, she has built confidence and knowledge that she continues to apply directly to her own business.
Looking ahead, her ambitions are broad and exciting. She hopes to continue developing her business, explore career opportunities in digital marketing, and perhaps one day open her own shop.
