We are proud of our constantly growing collection, from alpacas, chickens, goats, guinea pigs, hamsters, marmots, meerkats to rabbits and reptiles.

With hi-tech labs, a BIAZA-registered Animal Management Centre with exotic and aquatic rooms, outdoor paddocks, a dog grooming salon and much more, our friendly campus is one of the best places to study Animal Sciences.

We’re also an agricultural college, so you’ll be able to work with our horses and livestock too!

From behaviour, health, management, welfare and bioveterinary science, you’ll be able to choose a degree programme which covers various key aspects of animal science.

You’ll be taught by expert lecturers, who have knowledge and connections from their work with veterinary practices, zoos, welfare organisations, overseas voluntary projects, research facilities and small holdings.

Flexible ways to study

Your degree programme will combine lectures and theoretical study, lab work, research, and hands-on practical work and, in most cases, you can choose to study either full or part-time.
