Riseholme has an outstanding reputation for the quality of its provision and has undergone a complete refurbishment of all its arenas and key facilities. This includes a dedicated research yard for students studying an Equine degree.

Our tutors and instructors are absolute experts in their field and students also gain additional experience by working alongside staff on regional, national and international events.

Students take part in regular yard duties and must provide their own personal protection equipment, including riding hat and boots.

Riders of a high standard, or those who have the potential to succeed at a high level, are also given the opportunity to join our prestigious Equine Academy. Academy riders can be studying any course and are provided with expert coaching and tuition to enable them to compete at a high level.

Riseholme also offers a riding club giving students the chance to undertake extra riding hours to ride if they're on a non-riding course. It's open to all students with basic riding skills (which we will assess). Sessions cost £12.50 per hour and are run by experienced qualified instructions, with access to a wide range of suitable horses. You would need to provide your own riding equipment.

Abbie

Abbie studies the Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Management and would love to work as an equine physio in the future.

The relationships you build with the tutors are excellent.
