Understanding Our College-Level Courses

We offer degree-level courses from Level 4 (HNCs) to Level 7 (master's programmes). Find out more about the degree-level courses on offer.

Riseholme has been chosen as one of a select few educational institutions across England to pioneer the new T Level qualifications. These two-year courses, which launched in September 2020, are the equivalent of three A Levels.

Our vocational Level 3 courses can be taken as Foundation Diplomas, Extended Certificates, Diplomas or Extended Diplomas. Extended Diplomas are equivalent to three A Levels. They take between one and two years, dependent on the pathway you follow. We can help you decide which is the right path for you.

These courses are designed for people aged 19+ who want to return to education and prepare students to study at degree-level.

Here at Riseholme College, we can support you with training for a range of apprenticeships.

Our vocational Level 2 courses, i.e. BTECs, are equivalent of GCSE grade 4.

Here at Riseholme College, we can support you with training for a range of apprenticeships.

Our vocational Level 1 courses take a variety of forms, i.e. BTEC First Diplomas. They are a step up from Entry Level, and equivalent to GCSE grade 3.
