Health and Welfare
Here at Riseholme we take the health and welfare of our students very seriously. We feel that to enable a student to achieve, they must be supported to be happy and healthy, both emotionally and physically, so we have a wealth of experienced staff on campus and a good network of support agencies within the community.
Support is offered through Student Services, who will deal with your concerns in a sensitive, confidential and non-judgemental way. They will be able to signpost you to the best place for specialist advice. The College also organises a number of health events throughout the year including Lifestyle Days, Wellbeing Days and flu vaccinations, and arranges for other health-related talks for students.
Residential students are expected to register with the local doctors' surgery. Appointments for residential students and transport to appointments will be provided by the College, if required.
