Riseholme College is committed to sport, both as a career and lifestyle choice.
We understand the value of sport in not only improving physical and mental wellbeing, but also developing teamwork and leadership skills that can be crucial in later life.
Riseholme College recently opened a new, dedicated Sports and Health Science Centre as part of the £11.5million second phase development of the Showground Campus, on Lincolnshire Showground.
The facility includes a state-of-the-art gym, multi-use sports hall and flood-lit all weather pitch. These facilities are beneficial to our sports students’ studies but are also available for use by other students and the wider general public.
We're pleased to announce that the new gym at our Showground campus is now open to the public as well as to students and staff!
There is no joining fee or fixed term contract, simply a monthly payment for as long as you wish to remain a member.
- Full membership - £15 per month
- Riseholme College students - £12.50 per month
- Pay as you go - £7 per session.

Riseholme is proud to work in partnership with some of the biggest sporting organisations in the region.
We work closely with Active Lincolnshire, which is funded by Sport England to get more people across the country active and involved in sport.
We are also partners with Premiership side Leicester Tigers RUFC. The club adds value to the College’s Rugby Union Academy with high-level coaching, sports science and match opportunities support.
Students at Riseholme are eligible for the seven highly successful academies for aspiring sports stars run at the Bishop Burton Campus, in East Yorkshire. These include men’s and women’s rugby union, rugby league, football, equine, netball and modern pentathlon.
All our professional coaches have elite-level sport experience and applicants to academy programmes must demonstrate achievement or potential at regional or national level.
