These courses have been designed to teach skills and independence through a land-based curriculum. You will learn correct animal handling, horse care, husbandry and health for large and small animals.
The Entry Level 2 course is available to start on 21 January 2019. You will have the opportunity to progress to Entry Level 3 in September 2019.

- Work experience and employability skills
- English and Maths, as required.
One year full-time, normally in college three days a week.
The Entry Level 2 course is also available as a six month course, starting on 21 January 2019 and running until June 2019.
Students can study Agriculture, Animal Management and Equine Studies at a higher level at the college.
You will be prepared for a variety of careers, including working with livestock, in stables, kennels or pet shops, among many others.
A passion for the subject and one satisfactory reference is needed.
