This course is designed as a platform for you to get a broad range of knowledge and understanding around employability skills and requirements to support your progress into industry. You have the opportunity to learn about horse care in an intensive six month period, whilst preparing you for progression by supporting your development of employability skills or progression onto a Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management, depending on your career goals.
The diverse and fascinating equine world is growing all the time, making it an increasingly exciting industry to work in. You will have opportunities to develop practical skills working on our equine unit and also have the opportunity to gain vital work experience to develop industry knowledge and skills.
This course will start on 21 January 2019.
Six months, starting January 2019.
You will be able to progress on to the Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management.

Four GCSEs at grade 3 or D or equivalent, preferably including Science, English and Maths, or a Level 1 qualification in a related subject. One satisfactory reference is also needed.

A: The best thing has been riding a variety of horses and getting more confident with jumping. The yard staff are all very friendly and are always approachable.
Q: What are your hopes for the future?
A: In the future I would like to work with troubled horses that have been neglected and abused.
