Outstanding facilities, practical, hands-on learning, supportive tutors and great friends – Riseholme College has the total package for Ryan.
After completing his Agriculture apprenticeship with the College, Ryan decided to return to concentrate on engineering, which he hopes will lead him
to a job working as a welder on offshore oilrigs.
He said: “I had already done an agricultural apprenticeship here a couple of years ago and decided to focus on the engineering side of it, rather than the livestock and the arable. I’ve invested in my own welder and all my own equipment and I would like to work on oil rigs. I really enjoy welding and
think I’m pretty hot at it as well!
“It’s a very practical, hands-on course. It has been really good studying at a brand new campus and the set-up is excellent. The tutors are all really good and helpful and I’ve also built up a good group of friends on my course.
“I would certainly recommend it.”
