The well-equipped engineering workshops at Riseholme College include specialist areas for welding and fabrication, machine tools and small engines.

The department is sponsored by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (LAMMA) and as a result, all Level Two students are supplied with their own set of tools, which they keep on completion of their studies.

Land-based Engineering

We have excellent links with manufacturers and dealers to improve students’ employability. This also enables students to engage with the latest technology and equipment. Students are given the opportunity to develop their tractor handling and machinery operation skills in the field to complement their servicing and repair skills, making them particularly valuable to employers in this sector.
