Investment in the Future
The College recently opened the £24million new Showground Campus at Lincolnshire Showground, just minutes from the Riseholme Park Campus.
The Showground Campus buildings include classrooms, science labs, an animal management facility, agriculture, engineering and arboriculture workshops, a learning resource centre, refectory and facilities for administration, student services and staff.
It is the first land-based college campus to be built in the UK in the last 50 years and is testament to our commitment and determination to support the industry in Lincolnshire and beyond.
The second phase of the new campus opened in September 2016 and includes a Sports and Health Science Centre, with state-of-the art gym, multi-use sports hall and all-weather ourdoor 4G pitch, and a specialist Agri-Tech Health and Nutrition Centre.
It is an exciting time to be involved in the industry. There is a surge of innovation and new technology. Bishop Burton’s Riseholme Showground Campus will put Lincolnshire at the centre of that innovation and our students in the best position to contribute to the rural economy.
